National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day is an international day that gives children a glimpse into the working world. InterContinental Kaohsiung takes on the great importance of the family relationship of employees and echo to the cause. Earlier this month, colleagues and children were invited to experience the working day together. The event gave children the opportunity to not only understand their parents’ work routine, exchange emotions with each other, and cultivate mutual understanding through activities, but also to make new friends.Our employees and families enjoyed the harmonious atmosphere, a demonstration of flexibility and resilience in the way we interacted with each other in this modern world.

InterContinental Kaohsiung teamed up with #TapeArt 2.0 Exhibition to hold the Cycle of Love Charity Event. Children from the Syin-Lu Social Welfare Foundation were invited to visit a miniature TapeArt Exhibition at InterContinental Kaohsiung. The event aims to provide the disadvantaged who are interested in artistic creations an opportunity to enjoy on-site art tours and to drive the aesthetic development of the next generation.

Warm holiday is coming up. InterContinental Kaohsiung and Farglory Foundation worked together on a charity project with Chinese Christian Relief Association and Raising Children Medical Foundation during this Christmas. Hotel General Manager – Robbert Manussen and hotel talents worked together to pack Christmas gifts for children in needs, to make sure these children feel love and warmth during the festive season, and welcome the new year together with hope and blessings.
